1.4.14 Released

Submitted by Chris Travers on

This marks an incremental, bugfix release for the 1.4 series, and corrects a number of problems with the employee/user workflow. Anyone using LedgerSMB 1.4 in a multi-user environment should probably upgrade as soon as possible. A number of other fixes were made in relation to Starman usage and a few in areas relating to application setup.

This release updates the version number to 1.4.13.1 since 1.4.13 identified itself wrongly as 1.4.12.

The 1.4.13 release (and hence the 1.4.13.1 release) includes a number of important improvements including adding back

1.4.12 released

We have released LedgerSMB 1.4.12.  Users of 1.4 are encouraged to upgrade.  This release corrects an issue introduced by an earlier bugfix where users permissions can not be rese from the front-end properly.  This affects at least 1.4.10 and 1.4.11.

There are a number of other fixes here too, minor than that one.  Please see the complete changelog for details:

1.4.11 released

This release corrects some issues with the usability of the Malay translation, and many more.  Of particular note, we fixed a number of issues with password special character handling and added the ability to delete account headings.  Some of these bugs we fixed make some work flows more error prone and we would recommend that 1.4 users upgrade as soon as convenient.

1.4.10.1 released

Submitted by ehu on
LedgerSMB 1.4.10.1 was released today.   An earlier release of 1.4.10 was found to be missing the version number update (and showing itself as 1.4.9).  This constitutes the official release of 1.4.10.

This includes a significant number of bug fixes, but also adds a complete Malay translation for the software.   In general, we're getting to the point here where it is worth upgrading for the bug fixes or the translation.

1.4.9 released

As was to be expected there was an issue with 1.4.8: given the issues 1.4.8 corrected - and the changes required to do so - it was important that they were fixed and by consequence to accept the -likely- chance of regressions. Unfortunately this regression poses significant issues which explains the emergency release.

This release corrects handling of employees on Add Contact menu item.  The employees can now be managed entirely through the Contact menu.  This also improves on the business unit system, allowing for multiple top-level units per class, and includes many other improvements to the user interface.
