How do I delete a company database ?

I had created a second database. To delete it, do I just drop the database from postgresql?

On a GNU-ish *nix platform use the script:
tools/delete-company-database.sh
it'll remove the roles and the database.

Do I have to type in the full customer's name on the invoice screen? Didn't there used to be a drop-down list?

But I'm glad to be able to deny your conclusion above: the system will search on any partial match, both on the customer number or on the customer name. So, there's no need to spell them quite exactly.

Also, if you want the drop downs back, there's a setting in the System -> Defaults screen (third item below the currency settings input box; "Max per dropdown"). If you enter 99999 into that (assuming you don't have that many customers), you'll be presented the selection list you're used to.

1.3.11 released

The 1.3 branch of LedgerSMB added real security, greatly enhanced payment handling, bank reconciliation, contact management, and more to this project, and began the complete redesign of this application to provide better solutions to accounting questions.

LedgerSMB 1.3.9 has been released. This includes the missing work on
printing 1099 forms, and some other fixes including localization
fixes, and a number of misc fixes. This release has RPM's available
too.

1.3.7 released

The LedgerSMB team has released LedgerSMB 1.3.7. The bugfix list is
very long but this release moves the backup tools to the database
administration utility (setup.pl) and corrects a number of other
issues. Additionally default languages can now be set for invoices
both per company database and per customer. The complete changelog
is below.
